EDITORIAL: Passive and non-passive recreation, a bad fit at Walkers Lake

It is a fact that over the past few years much of Walker's Lake Reserve has been cleared of ground cover and that cleared land has increased in size at the expense of the flora, fauna and Aboriginal culturally significant trees. Over time encroachment has continued and campers have now interloped on the Braided tree and started chain-sawing it up for camp fire wood. Who is responsible for this vandalism and why is not more done?
