Grapevines and heritage verandahs – a difficult mix
ONE of the particular charms about St. Arnaud that has been commended by many, is the heritage nature of the town - the beautiful old buildings, most of which have been kept in pristine condition including the verandahs with intricate lattice work.
The grapevines installed by the council in Napier Street make it impossible to carry out maintenance on the verandahs
